A tailor in New York City, Thomas L. Jennings is credited with being the first African American to hold a U.S. patent. The patent, which was issued in 1821, was for a dry- cleaning process


Today is our Winter Assembly!  Students, you must show your school ID to enter the rally.  Students without their IDs will not be allowed into the gym. 


Dodgeball champions will be crowned today in the small gym at lunch.  If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.


Calling all girls who code… or want to code.  Applications for a FREE summer immersion program is now open.  Come to Q1 to find out how you can become a girl who codes!


It’s selling like hotcakes!  Get your 50th Anniversary Yearbook at!


Do you want to help with criminal justice? Do you care about the falsely accused?  If so, please volunteer to participate in a short research study regarding the justice system. Come to Room S-1 anytime at lunch to get more information about how you can contribute or to schedule an appointment.


If you are interested in attending CCOC/SVCTE next year as your electives, please turn in an application by March 1. We have two schedules AM and PM schedule. Information about the courses or applications are located in the counseling office or see Ms Armstrong


Attention Seniors! Remember that March 2nd is the last day to file your FAFSA/DREAM ACT to earn FREE money for scholarship.  Don't miss this opportunity. 


The OG Band & Guard need your help collecting 2500 pairs of new & slightly used shoes to send to third world countries. Drop your shoes off at the band room or give to any band or guard member. Thanks for your support

CSF: Seniors who have been in CSF need to remember that they must join this semester to qualify for Life Membership to earn the gold seal on their diploma. February 16th is the last day to turn in CSF applications.
